VLAS implemented a 6-day local training as part of the REMIND Project, engaging participants in a comprehensive non-formal education programme built around the potential of Traditional Sports and Games (TSG). The training aimed to strengthen essential soft skills such as communication, empathy, leadership, cultural awareness, negotiation, adaptability, organisational competence, and gender-inclusive teamwork. Throughout the six days, participants explored the educational and cultural value of TSG through hands-on activities, experiential games, role-play, reflection sessions, storytelling, case-based challenges, and group discussions. Each training day focused on a core theme—ranging from communication and empathy to leadership, motivation, negotiation, adaptability, volunteerism, and gender equality—allowing participants to connect personal experiences with practical skill-building. The programme created an engaging and supportive learning environment, promoting collaboration, intercultural dialogue, and active participation. The VLAS training highlighted the role of traditional games as effective tools for strengthening community ties, enhancing teamwork, and fostering personal and social development.
